Tubular Type Stranding Machine is suitable for high-speed stranded 7/12/19 round, compressed copper and aluminum conductor or steel wire.
Tubular type stranding machine works with 100% back twist movement. This machine is suitable for stranding 7/12/19 round or sector shape cable of copper/aluminum conductors as well as for steel wires stranding.
Usage
The tubular stranding machine is employed for the stranding of copper, aluminum and steel wires and ropes. The equipment takes several wires and join them together around a common axis for wire and cable production.
Main Capability Features
1. The cable making unit adopts a large bearing to support the structure of the barrel rotated by the main engine, increasing the rotating speed, accuracy, stability and extending the service life of the machine.
2. The barrel employs a three windows structure, entirely welded with good rigidity and stability.
3. High rotating speed with excellent stability and low noise output.
Components
Fixed pay-off frame, main engine, doubling die holder, bearing lubrication system, meter counter, dragger, take-up, and drive system.
It can also be fixed with a taping device upon request.

A tubular stranding machine is a piece of industrial equipment used to manufacture stranded wire rope, cable, or electrical wiring. It works by twisting together multiple strands of wire or cable to create a stronger and more durable product. The machine typically consists of several components, including a stranding cage, a capstan, a take-up reel, and various wire guides and tensioning devices.
During operation, individual wires or cables are fed into the stranding cage, which rotates at high speed to twist them together in a helical pattern. The resulting strand is then pulled through a series of wire guides and tensioning devices before being wound onto the take-up reel. The capstan helps to control the tension of the wire during stranding, ensuring that it is consistent throughout the process and minimizing the risk of breaks or defects.
Tubular stranding machines are commonly used in industries such as construction, automotive manufacturing, and telecommunications to produce a wide range of wire products, from simple electrical cords to heavy-duty crane ropes. They offer a highly efficient means of producing high-quality wire and cable products with consistent mechanical properties and reliable performance characteristics.
